Xpress Payment Solutions Limited (Xpress Payments) has announced a series of events to mark its 10th anniversary, celebrating a decade of operations since commencing business in 2016.
The week-long programme, themed *Xpress @10: A Decade of Innovation, A Future of Possibilities*, will feature a public lecture on digital payments and financial inclusion, a corporate social responsibility initiative, stakeholder engagement sessions and a gala night.
Wale Olayisade, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Xpress Payment Solutions Limited, described the milestone as more than a corporate anniversary, calling it a celebration of innovation, partnerships and the transformative power of technology.
"Reaching this 10-year milestone is a testament to the resilience, innovation and dedication of our team, partners, and the trust placed in us by millions of Nigerians who rely on our platforms daily," Olayisade said. "At Xpress Payments, we have transformed challenges into opportunities, pioneering secure and seamless payment solutions that power businesses, support government collections, and drive financial inclusion."
He noted that as Nigeria's digital economy continues to expand, the payments industry will remain central to economic development. The company remains focused on building solutions that empower businesses, support government initiatives and improve access to financial services, he added.
Xpress Payments operates under a CBN Switching and Processing Licence, serving as a Transaction Switching provider, Payment Solution Service Provider (PSSP), Payment Terminal Service Provider (PTSP), Third Party Processor (TPP) and non-bank acquiring agent.
The anniversary activities include a CSR initiative aimed at reinforcing the company's commitment to sustainable development and community impact. The public lecture will explore emerging trends, opportunities and challenges in digital payments and financial inclusion in Nigeria.
The celebrations will conclude with a gala night honouring key partners, customers, employees and stakeholders who have contributed to the company's growth over the past decade.
