Zedcrest Securities, the stockbroking arm of Zedcrest Group, has introduced equities trading on the Zedcrest Wealth App, enabling clients to trade shares of more than 150 companies listed on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) through their mobile devices.
The move integrates stock trading into a platform that already offers money market funds, treasury bills, commercial papers, corporate investments, and other fixed-income instruments. Users can now manage multiple asset classes within a single digital ecosystem.
Zedcrest Securities is a Trading License Holder of NGX Limited. The launch builds on the group's acquisition of RMB Nigeria Stockbrokers Limited in 2024, which was rebranded as Zedcrest Securities.
To mark the rollout, Zedcrest Securities will waive brokerage fees for an initial **three-month period** for new users who execute trades on the Zedcrest Wealth App, lowering the cost of entry for retail investors looking to participate in the Nigerian equities market.
The campaign is anchored on the theme "Take Your Position," encouraging investors to move beyond observation and take active positions in capital market opportunities.
Renah Osiemi, Managing Director of Asset Management at Zedcrest, said the addition of equities significantly expands the investment options available on the platform and reinforces the group's commitment to delivering a more comprehensive investment experience.
Simbiat Bada, Managing Director of Stockbroking at Zedcrest, added that the launch reflects the strength of the Zedcrest Group model — combining the market expertise and execution capabilities of Zedcrest Securities with the digital infrastructure and client reach of the Zedcrest Wealth App.
The Zedcrest Wealth App is the digital investment platform of Zedcrest Investment Managers, the asset management subsidiary of Zedcrest Group. The group operates across asset management, securities trading, investment banking, consumer finance, and global markets.
