The Zamfara State Internal Revenue Service (ZIRS), in collaboration with Primeguage Solutions, has organised a capacity-building programme for approximately 100 participants on the PayZamfara Intelligent Billing System for Sharia court revenue collection.
The training came after Sharia court revenue collection was incorporated into PayZamfara, a digital revenue management platform developed by Primeguage Solutions for Zamfara State. The integration is meant to modernise how court revenue is administered, make payment procedures less cumbersome, and improve transparency and accountability in government revenue collection.
Participants, mainly Sharia court officials, were taken through the practical use of the platform to handle court-related revenue transactions. The hands-on sessions focused on digital billing and collection workflows, giving officials a clear understanding of how the system supports their revenue administration duties.
Among the officials in attendance were Murtala Garba, Director of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) at ZIRS; Abdulazeez Mainasara Maigari, Revenue Officer for Courts and the Ministry of Justice at ZIRS; and His Worship Aminu Sani, who acted as a resource person during the session.
At the conclusion of the programme, participants received certificates of participation, confirming their completion of the training and their introduction to the newly integrated court revenue collection system.
